The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money for The Royal Marsden to help save the lives of people affected by cancer, everywhere. When you run with us, the money you raise could support:

- Modern patient environments – allowing the hospital to build new facilities and refurbish existing ones, so that patients are cared for in the most welcoming, dignified and peaceful environments.
Your support will make a huge difference to people like Jenny.
Jenny was just 23 when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour, after she started suffering from seizures whilst backpacking around Southeast Asia.
Following surgery to remove the tumour, she was referred to The Royal Marsden for further treatment and has benefitted from radiotherapy on the Charity-funded Cedar Linac machine.
“I’m so glad to have had access to the Cedar Linac machine and knowing now that it’s been funded by supporters of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity makes me feel very grateful to everyone who has donated.”
Two years later, following surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, Jenny has finished her treatment, and her scans continue to be clear. She took on the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon in 2025 as a way of saying thank you for the care she received.
